Typeface ART

*No progress was saved on Day Two, due to issues with my flash drive.
Typeface ART - Day One
Typeface ART - Day Three
Typeface ART - Day Four (Last)

We were expected to produce an 8.5x11 typeface in Adobe Illustrator. We had to create an object or animal using only type, and consisting of only the letters in that object or animal. As you can see, I chose to do a monitor. My final product was a red monitor with the desktop showing. The desktop consists of the Windows symbol, a task bar, a cursor, the start menu button, and the icon for a recycling bin. To create the shape of the monitor, I used repetition to make copies of the letters, and I used colors to add contrast to the image. I would say that the outline of my monitor accurately represents my sketch, but as far as the detail (recycling bin icon, start button, volume button, task bar, etc.) was not included in my sketch.
