TypoObject House - Day Four

TypoObject House - Last Day

In this assignment, we were required to create a 3-D object using typography. We had to create it in Adobe Illustrator in an 8.5x11 document and could only use black and white, and change the opacity. My final product is a 3-Dimensional house, bushes, and a doghouse. To basically add contrast, I changed the opacity of many elements of the house such as the house itself, the door, and even the shadows on the side of the house and the doghouse. Because I changed the opacity, it actually created a grayish color. There was also a high amount of repetition of words to create certain shapes. Although I removed some elements of my house and added details (such as the shadows, a different type of bush, and a doghouse) I would say that my house does accurately depict my sketch because both houses are facing the same way, and both look somewhat similar to each other.
