myLANDSCAPE

Day One

In this assignment, we were required to create a landscape on Adobe Flash, including two motion tweens. For my project, I chose to do a valley with a stream and mountains in the background. I used colors to create the different graphics and changed the opacity in the shading of the mountain and stream. My final design does accurately depict my sketch because of the general idea.

Web Site Design

Day Two
Day Four
Day Three

Last Day

We were expected to create our own website, using Adobe DreamWeaver. My website is basically a personal website. It describes my hobbies, favorites, facts, etc. I used colors to create the mood of the website, and (since it was a 'static' website) used repetition on all the pages, as the background and overall design remained the same. My final design contains over 10 pages, and the same overall design as my previous project.

Website: Homepage

Day One
Day Two

Last Day

We were required to create the homepage of our fictional website in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop in 4 days. My final product is an orange and white background, and basic information on what will be on my website. I used colors to attract attention to the web page, and contrast so that the text can be easily read.

KONY 2012

Day One

Day Three

STICKERS

POSTER
HAND-FLYER

We were required to create a promo pack (featuring a poster, hand-flyer, and stickers) for KONY2012. My project basically centers around the "child-soldier" theme. I used gradients to create a fading effect and shapes to create the overall characters. My poster accurately depicts my sketch because of the general idea of the sketch.

CPsheet

Day One
Last Day

We had two days to complete our profile sheets on our characters that we recently created. I used shapes to create the boxes and added color to create a contrast between the background and the information boxes. My final product is basically a profile sheet containing three boxes, each having different pieces of information about "Peter."

myCHARACTER

Day One
Day Four

Day Three
Day Five

Last Day

In this assignment, we were required to create our very own character (with two additional perspectives) using adobe illustrator, in five days. I used shapes to create my overall character, and color to add contrast to my penguin. My final product does accurately depict my sketch because of the general idea, but during the project, I added additional details, such as glasses and a sweater vest instead of a suit.

OHscape

Day Three
Day One
Day Two

Day Four

Last Day

In this assignment, we were required to recreate an area of our school using Adobe Illustrator. I chose to do a part of the science hallway. In order to make this look as realistic as possible, I used a gradient to represent the light source. For the floor and walls, I used lines to create the floor tiles. My final product accurately depicts my sketch because we were supposed to only use our sketch as a visual.

Doodle 4 Google

Day One
Day Three

Day Two

Day Five

Day Four

Last Day

For this project we had to create a design for "Doodle 4 Google", with the theme being "If I could travel in time, I would visit..." We were required to finish this in six days, using Adobe Illustrator. My final product is basically a design with a medieval-Europe concept. I demonstrated both the principles and elements of art by using a repetition of lines to create the roof of the cottage. I would say that my final product does accurately depict my sketch because, like in my sketch, I used a knight for my "G", a cottage and scorch mark for my "O"s, a dragon for my "g", a watch tower for my "l" and a wagon for my "e".

mySELF

Day Three
Day one

Day Two

Last Day

Day Four

In this assignment, we were required to make a self-illustration. The only difference from last year, is that we were required to create ourselves using the things that we enjoy or make us who we are. My final design  consists of a few of my hobbies and interests. My eyebrows consists of "grass" made up of a repetition of green lines. My final design somewhat resembles my sketch because of the fact that I added certain elements in my sketch into my final product, but added additional details not included in the sketch (grass eyebrows, tennis racquets nose, etc.)

Product Sheet

Day Two

Last Day

For this assignment, we were required to create a product sheet for our previous project, "Product Design" in Adobe Illustrator. I added lines to create columns and separate the information. I demonstrated emphasis when I chose to make certain words and phrases boldface.

Day One
Day Two

Last Day

Day Four

For this assignment, we were required to design and create our own product in Adobe Illustrator. I chose to create a "hands-free" vacuum that is controlled by an app on your smart phone. My final product is a vacuum with three different angles and an adapter and wireless charger for the vacuum. I used shapes to form the overall vacuum, and gradients to add a three-dimensional effect. My final product does accurately depict my sketch because the components of the vacuum in my sketch are very similar to my vacuum in Illustrator.
